About Felecity Joy Hoof
Born and raised in New Zealand, Felecity Joy Hoof (nee Nairn) started taking Ballet lessons with the Draper Academy of Dance at the age of four.
In her final year of schooling she trained at the National Ballet School in New Zealand before moving to London. Her first professional engagement was with the Wiener Ballet performing in over 150 Theatres in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium. Returning to London as a soloist she began working for the European Ballet Company touring England, Scotland and Wales.
During this time she auditioned and gained a contract with the renowed Vienna State Opera Ballet. Dancing in many of the great classics she was also chosen to dance at the famous Vienna State Opera Ball in 2000.
Two years later she accepted a first soloist contract in Bremerhaven Germany where contracts later followed in Koblenz, Giessen, Dessau and Coburg.
In 2008 she was invited to teach Ballet for the German Community College in Coburg and six months later she opened up her own successful Ballet school.
Felecity has also gained her Intermediate peak pilates mat certification before moving to Sydney with her family in 2010.
